6 of my most favorite blue books

If you are wondering what the hell is a blue book then fear not. It is just a result of my feverish attempt of coming up with a catchy title for this post. Blue books are nothing but DRUMROLLSSSSS… yep, you guessed it right , Blue colored books. So, I noticed that My bookshelf has a lot of the color blue in it. So here’s ranting about 6 of my (many) blue books!

This book just had to top the list. It obviously does need any introduction. A sweet love story of two cancer afflicted teenagers Hazel and Augustus Waters it is a real emotional ride for its readers.

This book will forever be in our hearts. ALWAYS.

2. THE KITE RUNNER by Khaled Hosseini

Twelve year old Amir is desperate to win the local kite fighting tournament and his loyal friend Hassan promises to help him but neither of the boys foresee what will happen to Hassan that afternoon, an event that is to shatter their lives

Another wonderful amazing novel that is one of my most favorites. The raw and honest emotions and struggles with self discovery guilt pain hatred is something which I will never be able to put to words.

3. MURDER ON A SUMMER’S DAY by Frances Brody

A Maharaja on the Moors. A priceless Jewel, An inexplicable Murder, renowned amateur detective Kate Shackleton digs deeper to discover that vengeance takes many forms, One thing Kate is sure of : her own skills and insights. Qualities that she is sure will help her unravel the murder in that fateful summer’s day.

A detective murder mystery with a female detective? Sign me up for it ! The book has an amazing story line and the suspense was eating me more more every page I turned. A great light read I woukd highly recommend.

4. TILL THE LAST BREATH by Durjoy Datta

Two patients are admitted to room no. 509. One is a brilliant nineteen-year-old medical student, suffering from an incurable, fatal disease. The other is a twenty-five year-old drug addict whose organs are slowly giving up. To reputed doctors, are trying everything to keep these two patients alive, even putting their medical licences at risk.

Another book I could stop gushing about for a long time to the point where my family was annoyed with me. Seriously this book should be gushed over more and more. The story is emotional and heartbreaking and the writing is so good that it takes you on a emotion; ride along with its characters.

5. SHOPAHOLIC ABROAD by Sophie Kinsella

For Rebecca Bloomwood, life is peachy, She has a job on morning TV, her bank manager is acually being nice to her, and when it comes to spending money, her new motto is Buy Only hat Yu Need- ans she’s really(sort of) sticking to it.

Sophie Kinsella is my all time favorite author. Her books are humorous and a magic to lighten your mood after a bad day. This book was particularly hilarious and Rebecca is absolutely relatable to a lot of people.

You’re waiting for your beloved husband to come home from work. You’re making dinner, looking forward to hearing about his day. That’s the lat thing you remember. You wake up in hospital. They tell you that you were in an accident. The police suspects that you are up to no good. But your husband refuses to believe it. Your best friend is not so sure. And even you don’t know what to believe….

Oh the TWISTS in this book. Suspense, romance, emotions, scandals you name it this book has it all. This had seriously me screaming FUCK at it at literally every turn of the page. The best suspense novel I have read in a long time.

So I am ending this blog here.I have no idea why I thought this topic would be a good idea but I went for it and I loved talking about these books. Who knew some of my favourite books are blue babes?

Did you read any of these books? Did you love them as much as I did?
